Kew Sparkle Returns...

Kew Sparkle will be returning on Friday 6 December 2024, 5-8pm, with an evening full of festive cheer! Supported by local schools, businesses and residents, Kew Sparkle offers shopping from local craft stalls, family entertainment at the stage, funfair rides and an array of street food!

The Kew Sparkle Committee are organising events to bring the local community together in raising money to light up Kew Village during the festive period. For more information and to donate, see the Kew Village Lights page.
Kew Sparkle is now in its 17th year! For one night only, on the first Friday of December, local businesses, community groups and the people of Kew come together to transform Kew Village into a vibrant festive wonderland for young and old to enjoy together!
Kew Sparkle combines a Christmas market with food, drink and craft stalls with family entertainment including fairground rides, a petting farm and Santa’s Grotto. The local school choirs, along with other musical entertainments, bring merriment and festive cheer to the village.

The event also raises funds for local and national charities - in 2023, we supported Cocoon Care After Care and raised £3000 towards their Christmas lunch for care leavers.

The Kew Village Christmas Lights, which bring festive cheer during December and early January, are also organised by the Kew Sparkle Committee. The funding of the lights is raised from donations from residents, contributions from local businesses, the local School Christmas jumper appeals and council grants.
